Single-leg Test
Record one minute of balance footage and we calculate your stability metrics.
Video Balance scores a single-leg stance: we detect the longest successful hold, quantify sway, velocity, and range, and surface everything in one dashboard.
Capture Guide
How to film the single-leg balance test
Consistent footage makes automated scoring accurate. Share these cues with every subject.
-
Set the posture
Raise one leg forward, bend the knee, and keep the foot at least 15 cm off the ground. Arms may move freely.
-
Frame the body
Place the camera at hip height, ensure the entire body stays in frame, and center the subject facing the lens.
-
Record for one minute
Film continuously for 60 seconds. If balance breaks, recenter immediately—we keep the longest stable segment.
-
Dress for clarity
Avoid baggy clothing; fitted athletic wear or shorts make the leg line visible for tracking.
-
Keep the subject safe
If they wobble, assist them back to the original position and continue filming within the same minute.
Record & upload
Shoot the clip on any mobile device, drag it into the uploader, and tag the subject’s age.
Review & analyze
Watch processing status, download overlays, and compare RMS sway, duration, and velocity in analytics.
Workflow
Upload videos & stream results
Keep this view open while jobs are processing; switching tabs is safe.
Balance Test Uploader
We never store raw videos with identifiable faces; automated face blurring runs during processing, and only derived metrics plus optional overlays remain after the session.
